DIY Kit - Everyday Vest

The body of this vest is knit flat in one piece from the bottom up. The back panel is worked first. Without casting off, the first front panel is worked. The second front panel is worked after. Stitches for the armholes are picked up from the outer edge of the garment and worked in the round. Stitches for the neckband are picked up from the inner edge of the garment and worked flat. Pockets are optionally added.

Fiber Content Note: Merino No. 5 TWEED colors Flamingo, Blue Lagoon, Stardust and Blacksmith have different fiber content: 80% Merino Wool, 14% Wool, 6% Viscose

Care: Dry clean or hand wash cold, lay flat to dry. Please test any washing/drying method on a small swatch to ensure you like the end result. Note that exposing wool to heat (hot water) or agitation (machine washing) will cause it to felt.
