  The body of this coat is worked flat from the bottom up in three pieces. It is knitted with two strands of yarn held together. The panels are then assembled and seamed at the shoulders and sides. Stitches for the sleeves are picked up around the armholes and the sleeves are worked in the round from the shoulder to the cuffs. The garter stitch collar is worked by picking up stitches around the neckline. 

  For the multicolor version, each piece of the cardigan is knitted in a different color using two strands of yarn held together. To make this version please purchase yarn and pattern separately.  Pattern listing provides details on yarn amounts.
