Little Monster Jacket - PATTERN - Big Loop
The body of this jacket is knit flat and in one piece. The back panel is worked first from the bottom-up using the longer set of knitting needles. Without casting off, the first front panel is worked from the top-down using the shorter set of knitting needles. The second front panel is knit top-down after casting off the first panel and reconnecting working yarn. Using the shorter set of knitting needles, stitches for the sleeves are picked up from the outer edge of the garment and worked in the round. Tip: We recommend knitting tighter for this project — this way, the jacket won’t stretch out as much when being worn. Tip: To prevent stretching, don’t store this jacket on a hanger. Keep it folded when not in use.
