DIY Kit - City Girl Jacket - Big Cotton
DIY Kit - City Girl Jacket
The only difference between City Girl & Urban Cowboy is the fringe which is added at the end. This jacket is a drop shoulder style. The back is worked flat, then it is split into 2 front panels and each panel is also worked flat. Stitches for sleeves are picked up and worked in the round to the cuff. Fringe for Urban Cowboy Jacket is attached after the garment is fully knitted.

Note: for sleeves you will need to use magic loop method when using size 17 (12 mm) circular needles 32’’ (80 cm). To avoid magic loop for sleeves you can use an additional size 17 (12 mm) 20’’ (50 cm) knitting needles.
NOTE: A tapestry needle may be helpful when seaming and securing all loose ends.
Buttons can be added to this style to make it your signature piece.
Care: Hand wash or machine wash cold, tumble dry. Please test any washing/drying method on a small swatch to ensure you like the end result. As our cotton is chunky, un-mercerized, and minimally processed to preserve the fiber’s natural softness and elasticity, it is more prone to shedding. Washing and drying should help alleviate this. For further information and tips, please consult our Fiber Care Guide.
Yarn made in Italy, kit assembled in the USA.
