Top-Down Tee PATTERN- Big Cotton
This top is worked in the round from the neck to the armholes, then stitches are placed on hold for the sleeves while the body is worked in the round to the bottom edge. When the body is complete, the sleeves are worked in the round (just 2-3 rounds depending on size).

Note: This kit requires US 19 (15 mm) circular needles 32’’ (80 cm) and US 17 (12 mm) circular needles 32’’ (80 cm). For neck you will need to use magic loop method when using size US 17 (12 mm) circular needles 32’’ (80 cm). To avoid magic loop you will need to use an additional set of size US 17 (12 mm) 20’’ (50 cm) circular needles or US 17 (12 mm) double pointed needles (DPN’s).
Top-Down Tee in Big Cotton is knit from the top-down and in the round with straightforward raglan shaping. The stockinette and raglan rhythm makes these styles joyful (and quick!) to knit - as well as accessible to a wide range of knitting levels! Since you are knitting top down you can easily adjust the length of the top and sleeves to fit your needs.
Gauge: Stockinette on size US 19: 7 sts/4", 10 rows/4". 1x1 rib on size US 17 8 sts/4’’, 10.5 rows/4’’. This sweater is knit in the round so your gauge swatch for stockinette stitch should also be knit in the round - usually knitting stockinette stitch in the round results in tighter tension since there are no purl rows.
