DIY Kit - My First Cardigan
The body of this cardigan is knit flat in one piece from the bottom up. The back panel is worked first. Without casting off, the first front panel is worked. The second front panel is worked after. Stitches for the sleeves are picked up from the outer edge of the garment and worked in the round to the cuff. Stitches for the neckband are picked up from the inner edge of the garment and worked flat.

Note: You can knit the entire garment using only 32" circular needles. Using only 32" circular needles, you may need to use a magic loop for the sleeves and cuffs. To avoid magic loop, use 20" circular needles.
Care: Hand wash or machine wash cold, tumble dry. Please test any washing/drying method on a small swatch to ensure you like the end result. As our cotton is chunky, un-mercerized, and minimally processed to preserve the fiber’s natural softness and elasticity, it is more prone to shedding. Washing and drying should help alleviate this.
