Note: The Summer yarn version of this pattern uses a size 17 needle.
Follow the pattern as it is written in the book - except use size US17 (12mm) circular knitting needles and the following change:
For neckband, pick up 110 sts for S/M and 114 for M/L.
Gauge for the Summer Recluse is: 9 stitches = 4 inches (10 cm); 9 rows = 4 inches (10 cm).

Note: This kit requires US 17 (12 mm) circular needles 32’’ (80 cm). For sleeves and cuffs you will need to use magic loop method when using size US 17 (12 mm) circular needles 32’’ (80 cm). To avoid magic loop for sleeves and cuffs you can use an additional size US 17 (12 mm) 20’’ (50 cm) circulars OR US 17 (12 mm) DPN’s.
NOTE: A tapestry needle may be helpful when seaming and securing all loose ends.
Care: Hand wash cold, lay flat to dry or tumble dry. Please test any washing/drying method on a small swatch to ensure you like the end result. Our cotton is un-mercerized and minimally processed to preserve the fiber’s natural softness and elasticity
