A true showstopper.
Like a Bird looks intricate and high-fashion — the kind of piece that stops people mid-sentence to ask, “Did you make that?”
And here’s the secret: it’s incredibly beginner friendly.
It’s knit entirely using the knit stitch — no purling — and the dramatic fringe is simply added at the end. That’s it. The texture and movement do all the work.

This beginner-friendly jacket only uses the knit stitch! The body is knit flat in one piece. Stitches for the sleeves are picked up from the body and worked in the round to the cuff. Stitches for the neckband are picked up from the body and worked flat. Once the complete, fringe is cut and added as desired.
