DIY Kit - Winter Vest - Merino No. 5
DIY Kit - Winter Vest
The body of this vest is knit flat in one piece. The back panel is worked first from the bottom-up. Without casting off, the first front panel is worked top-down. The second front panel is knit top-down after casting off the first panel and reconnecting working yarn. Stitches for the armholes are picked up from the outer edge of the garment and worked in the round. Stitches for the neckband are picked up from the inner edge of the garment and worked flat.

Since this is a long knitted garment expect it to grow due to its weight at least a few inches with wear. To reduce the amount of stretching, never hang knitted garments - always store them folded.
