DIY Kit - Scandinavian Sweater - Dream (Merino Worsted)
DIY Kit - Scandinavian Sweater
Both Scandinavian Top & Sweater are knit top-down and in-the-round, with a stranded colorwork (also known as Fair Isle) yoke. Scandinavian Top features voluminous short sleeves, while the Sweater offers full-length sleeves with a Fair Isle ‘bracelet’ at the wrist and ribbed cuffs. Both patterns offer sizes Small through 3X and, in soft and squishy Dream yarn, are sure to be fun and rewarding knits that will keep you riveted from start to finish.
Dream is our new name for Merino Worsted yarn. Though the name is different and we have a new palette of color offerings, nothing else about Dream has changed: it is the same yarn you know and love!

Note: This sweater can be done on size 10 32’’ and size 13 32’’ circulars. Magic loop will need to be used for the sleeves and neckline. To avoid magic loop you can use size 13 16’’ for the sleeves and size 10 double pointed needles for the cuffs and neckline. Size 10 16’’ circulars can be used for neckline.
NOTE: A tapestry needle may be helpful when seaming and securing all loose ends.
Fiber Content Note: Dream TWEED colors Flamingo, Blue Lagoon, Blacksmith and Stardust have different fiber content: 82% merino, 13% wool, 5% viscose.
Care: Dry clean or hand wash cold, lay flat to dry. Please test any washing/drying method on a small swatch to ensure you like the end result. Note that exposing wool to heat (hot water) or agitation (machine washing) will cause it to felt.
Yarn made in Italy, kit assembled in the USA.
Shown in Cafe Con Leche (C1) and Spicy Hot Pink (C2).
